Gavin Smith impacted so many people in his 30 short years on this earth. On the one-year anniversary of his death his family and friends would like to not only provide an opportunity to give family and friends a venue to come together to love and support each other, but also to give back to the community of Lawrence that Gavin loved so much.

The proceeds of this annual golf tournament will benefit Leadership Lawrence, which was a very important aspect of Gavin’s professional life. His passion for this program was evident and the year long experience was so very meaningful to him not only in what he learned but the relationships and friends that were a result of this program. The money raised in this tournament will provide that same experience to another small business owner in Lawrence who might not otherwise have the financial ability to participate in the program.

FORMAT:     Tournament will be played in a Scramble format with 4-person teams.  $5 mulligan donations will be available at registration. If you do not have a full 4 man team, we will gladly find you a pairing.

POST TOURNAMENT FESTIVITES: A celebration will be held at Fatso’s (1016 Massachusetts Street, Lawrence, KS) immediately following the tournament (6 p.m.) to include dinner, drinks, a live band and a silent auction. Even if you are not participating in the golf tournament, we would love for you to join us! Everyone is welcome!

AUCTION:     A silent auction will be held at at Fatso’s following the tournament.

PROCEEDS:    All proceeds to benefit Leadership Lawrence.
